Induna's tail

This morning Patrick came across Karula and her two cubs Induna and Mixo. He thought it was just a normal morning with these lovable cats but as he looked closer he saw something strange.
The tip of Induna's tail had been stripped down to the bone. It looked like a nasty injury that is unlikely to have happened whilst playing with his brother.
Consensus is that he could have had his tail hanging from a tree whilst on a kill and a hyena jumped up and bit it. After Mixo's close shave with Floppy Ear last week this is a likely story.
