Induna is a male leopard, thought to have been born in November 2008. He is one of Karula's cubs and litter mate to his brother Mixo . His name is Shangaan for chief and seems to be fitting of this young male.

He has developed a character of strength, confidence and pride. He has also displays a soft affectionate side in his behaviour towards Karula where he often greets her with a tail "clasp" around her neck.
