Alex comes to WildEarth after many years in the IT profession. He worked for several years as an IT Manager for Conde Nast, the publishing company that is responsible for many renowned magazines, such as Vogue, GQ and Glamour. He then decided that this was as far as he was willing to go on this career path and decided he needed a radical change.

Leaving Moscow for the second time in his life and going straight into the South African bush to pursue his passion for film and love of nature, he started working as an editor camera-man for Safari.tv. He spent a lot of time dealing with technical issues in the FCC but also spent some time on the vehicle behind the camera or directing and editing.

After 6 months of this he decided technical was what he loved and the bush was not where he wanted to live on a permanent basis. He now works for WE as our master controller and will be helping out Safari tv with technical when Melusi is on leave. Alex is not only a genius but an all round great guy to have around.
